Pizza at 1:45, meeting 2:00-3:00. No uniform required, casual dress OK. Bring your Boy Scout Handbook, a notebook, a pencil, and be ready for a fast-paced session on leadership. (Star and Life Scouts must attend this training to start their 4 or 6 month "Leadership Position of Responsibility")
This is an amazing opportunity to experience a wide variety of shooting sports in a safe and fun outdoor environment. Cost: $100/Scout, $40/Adults
Where: Boulder Creek Scout Reservation
Who: Limited to 60 Scouts; each unit can only sign up 6 Scouts initially; any remaining slots as of 8/20 will be open to any troop. Details:
Sign-ups are by “contingent” only (as a troop/crew, no individual sign-ups).
Units will be assigned a check-in time of 7:00am OR 7:30am.
All participants must bring 2 signed copies of the Firearms Permission Form.
MANDATORY safety briefing starts at 8:30am. If you are not there on time you cannot shoot!
Eye and ear protection will be provided and must be worn at all ranges.
Bring your own lunch and water.
Adults can shoot, time permitting. Scouts have priority.
Health Considerations for COVID-19: All attendees will be asked to fill out a health questionnaire and will be turned away if they have any symptoms. Temperature will be checked at check-in. Masks must be worn at all times other than when shooting or eating.
